What Kind Of Clothes to Bring?
We recommend layers, Texas weather can be unpredictable. It may be raining and cold in the morning and T-shirt weather in the afternoons. A light rain coat is a good thing to bring. Walking shoes and gloves are also on the list.
What Rifle Do You Suggest Bringing?
The ranch is mainly utilized for rifle hunting but we have some bow stands and portable pop-up stands we can set up for those wishing to bow hunt. We do recommend that bow hunters bring a rifle as a backup if they haven't been successful with a bow by the end of the second hunt day.
Before we go hunting all shooters will have a target practice session with your guide. This is to ensure scopes or sights haven't been damaged or knocked loose during transit. During this time if you need to sight in a rifle you may do so at the lodge range.
We do not allow 6.5 Creedmoor for trophy hunts
What Is The Hunting Style (Walk And Stalk, Stand)?
Hunts can be customized based on the hunter's physical ability and wishes. If you don't want to sit in a stand all day you don't have to.
